领导 Academy

The 领导 Academy is designed to develop leaders through the acquisition & application of knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, mentoring & personal reflection.

Students who register for the 领导 Academy will be required to attend four leadership workshops in the fall semester and the Annual 领导 Conference.

Participants will also participate in either a service project or an experiential learning session* and meet with an appointed 领导 Guide (a professional staff member on campus). Participants will be invited to celebrate the culmination of the Academy with a 领导 panel and Celebratory dinner at the end of the semester to receive their certificate of completion from the Academy and Academy gift.

(*) Experiential learning and service are methods of educating through first-hand experience outside of a traditional instructor setting. Students learn by doing, discovering, reflecting and applying & 结果是, develop communication skills and self-confidence and gain and strengthen decision-making skills by responding to and solving problems and processes – or assisting those in need by providing necessary services to support an individual or organization; these are key qualities current employers are seeking out in today’s job market.
